Lesbian success rates

Hi all my sapphic ladies out there!

My wife and I are trying IUI for the first time this weekend. I am 32 with no fertility issues. Any stories of success on the first or second time? I ask because I am suspicious of success rates for heterosexual couples as they wouldn't get IUI if there weren't fertility concerns.

    My wife and I have had 2 unsuccessful IUI's, but I am much older than you so I guess that isn't helpful. We are waiting for our 3rd attempt and if unsuccessful will be starting meds. So far the only type of med we have had is the HCG shots. I have no known infertility issues other than age. I know you wanted answers from successful IUI, but i felt the urge to respond anyway. Good luck and hopefully you are successful right off!

    My wife is 34 and she got pregnant on the first IUI. We used clearblue ovulation predictor kits and inseminated 24 hours after getting smiley face on OPK. We also used a reproductive endocrinologist. Also, you posted this thread in the single mom board and not the same sex couple board so I'm not sure how many people will respond. Good luck to you!

    Hello,
    I am also 32 with no known fertility issues. I have had 3 unsuccessful IUI's using the HCG trigger shot. I just had my 4th IUI yesterday, and used Menopur injections this cycle. We did the IUI about 37 hours after the tigger. So we will know in 2 weeks if this one worked. Sorry it's not a success story, but also felt I should respond. Good luck to you.     I'm 33 and conceived on the 1st natural IUI cycle with 1 baby. I also know many people who succeed on the 2nd try.
