Hi,

We're considering this donor, but I see that there are no reported pregnancies. Is he reasonably new? Can you tell me how long he's been available?

    Donor 13475 became available about 5 months ago.

    We receive a lot of questions about reported pregnancies in this forum, and I just want to share some information to make sure that certain assumptions are not made.

    Choosing a donor with more reported pregnancies than another donor does not increase your chances of getting pregnant. For the average healthy woman, it usually takes about 3-4 IUI cycles. Specific success rates should be discussed with your physician, as the type of procedure, use of fertility drugs, type of cycle monitoring, and maternal age all play a role.

    All of our donors go through our extensive screening process which takes about 3-4 months, and less than 1% of applicants actually become CCB donors. All donors must meet our specimen quality standards and they are all capable of achieving pregnancy.

    Typically, the number of reported pregnancies is linked to how long a donor has been available and/or how popular his characteristics are. We offer a diverse selection of over 400 donors on our catalog, and some donors with a unique set of characteristics (hair color, height, ethnic background, etc) are not going to sell as quickly as others. It’s important to choose a donor that is a good fit for what you are looking for. Donor 13475 will eventually have reported pregnancies and if he’s your favorite donor there’s no reason not to select him.

    We have used Donor 13475 and are currently 20 weeks pregnant. We had quad testing done and came back that the child could have down syndrome, we are going see a genetic counselor hopefully sometime next week.

    @JSB012217 what was the outcome of your pregnancy? my wife and i are considering Donor 13475. Also does anyone one on here have a child born from Donor 13475?

    Just an update, Donor 13475 has more than 5 reported pregnancies. He also has reported births.

    We are currently 28 weeks prego with our baby girl by donor 13475!!!

    CC - do you know if he will have any more photos become available?

    Hi @Houndmama and @117masterchied — did you both end up having successful pregnancies with this donor? My wife and I have two daughters from this donor and we are in touch with five other families :)
