Got my ORI test results and my egg quality was good but the other factor (numbers) they test for was low.. Dr pretty much told me that I need to do this sooner than later...he is scheduling me for a hysterosonogram next week... He also suggested I'd go for a mini IVF which is half the price of a full IVF...about 7k.. That's a lot of money... For one try... And what if it doesn't happen...can anyone tell me average cost of meds/shots..my insurance doesnt cover anything... I have enough saved up for 3 rounds of IUI's...Any and all help would be appreciated...

    What is mini IVF, I have never heard of that? My insurance also doesn't cover, so I am in the same boat! My doctor told me that injectables run about $2k per month. I don't know if my insurance would cover that or not. They do cover the trigger shot, Clomid and progesterone but none of the ultrasounds, IUI's, IVF or donor vials.
