Pricing Differences

Does anyone know why some vials are $280 and some are like $590??? I thought maybe it had to do with the permenant product but I'm looking at one now that has had a successfull pregnancy and it is only $280....

Virgo, I could be totally wrong, but the way I understand it is those cheaper vials at $280 are for ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies) uses - so the count you'd get per vial is much lower. The docs don't need the sperm count to be as high if they are taking one sperm and injecting it (not sure if that's the right term, but that's what I understand they do) into the egg.

So, the cheaper ART ICI stuff would be unwashed and the ART IUI stuff would be washed.

From what I have researched if you are planning an IUI or ICI you don't want to use the ART stuff because the counts are going to be much lower.

The more expensive stuff is going to have higher counts per vial.

I'm pretty sure that's the reason for the differences. Hope I haven't screwed it up. I'm still new to this too!! Here's the list from CCB's site:
