Some advice needed

I hope someone can assist us. We would like to buy some specimens from Cryobank but it seems we are facing some issues. We live in the UK and would like to know how to go about all of this and what the process is.

On reading the site, the following appears to be the process:

1 - go to see a local doctor to get the A1 form signed. Once this is done, send signed form over to the cryobank

2 - put order in and wait for it to be delivered.

Now, I need some clarification on the following. Do I physically need to so a US doctor? Will a UK doctor suffice or can I have a telephone conversation with a US doctor to have it explain it to me as per the A1 form?

Is there any consultation or tests that I need to go through to get approved or accepted for the purchasing of the specimens?

I really do not want to spend all the money to get to the US only to find out that I missed something that is going to take a long time and more money than initially anticipated.

PLEASE help me

  • You should post this question under ASK CALIFORNIA CRYOBANK since that is where Scott and actual employee of CCB looks for and answers questions. I don't believe it needs to be a local doctor for the A1 so your doctor there should not be a problem. Scott is great though and can tell you exactly what you need for international orders.
  • Another option you have as well, is to get skype and to call them for free. That's what I would do. Or pay for a skype account to be able to make all the calls in the US for super cheap!

    Good luck with your search!
