Anonymous Donors

I have chosen to use and anonymous donor, but am wondering if they have an option to change their minds down the road and become "open". Does CCB remain in contact with all previous donors or retain current contact info. Just curious. Thanks.

    Yes, all anonymous donors reserve the right to become "open" donors in the future. It is important to note that even anonymous donors know we will contact them on behalf of any 18-year-old offspring should we receive such a request in the future. They have the option to accept the contact (facilitated by CCB) or turn it down.

    CCB never destroys any donor records. We do our best to stay in touch with the donors and track any relevant medical updates for their files.
