Freezing Embryo's

I am 41, almost 42 and was about to do an ivf when some twist and turns of life just happened that has made me want to put off things for a little while. I have decided to freeze embryo's to buy me some time while my eggs and numbers are good. Has anyone ever done this before? I just don't want to make any rash decisions for myself and I thought this was a way that I can buy time and get my answers properly without pressure of nature striking against me.

Any thoughts?
