Why do specimens from different donors vary in cost? What is cost based upon?

    Hi Sun-

    There is no cost variation between donors. All CCB donors are of the highest quality. We do not charge extra for graduate students, or outstanding athletes, etc. as some banks do.

    What you are noticing is that different vial types (IUI, ICI, ART) vary in cost due to sperm volume and preparation technique. It may appear that donors vary in cost, but this is simply because the donors you are looking at may have different vial types currently available.

    Please consult your physician as to the type you will need. If you are planning an at home insemination, you should be ordering Premium ICI vials.

    Additionally, I believe the cost varies depending on whether the donor is "Open" or "Anonymous".
