Timing of IUI after trigger shot?

Hi, Does anyone have a history of timing IUI? The doctors say you should wait 36 hours but I am sure it is possible to ovulate before that time. I am a little anxious about waiting so long. Any thoughts?

    Your doctor is correct in the tming. You are usually given Cetrotide or ganrilex to suppress ovulation. After the Ovidrel trigger, 36 hrs is the norm unless you are doing back 2 back IUI's. Then you go in at the 24 hr and 36 hr time mark, usually. Hope this helps ;)

    My doc had me come in at the 12hr and the 36 hr mark and that is when I got pregnant. So 2 IUIs.
