I haven't been on in a while guys, sorry.
Life has been insane!
May 10 my water broke for one of the babies. I was admitted to the hospital and wasn't being released until they were born, could have been up to 6 weeks. I lasted 10 days before they were born.
They were born 29 weeks 5 days.
Evan came home at 5 weeks old, he is perfectly healthy, just needed to grow. Weighed 3lb 5oz at birth, now over 7 lbs.
Nicky is still in NICU. He is growing, but he has a ways to go. He is up to 5 lbs now, he was 2lb 6oz at birth. His lungs are immature and had PDA ligation at 3 weeks. Complication from surgery the left side of his diaphragm isn't moving. The dr is hoping as he grows it will wake up. Right now we are waiting to see what happens with his lungs as he grows. Last resort, worst case scenario is trach to have a vent for a while. He was extubated at 3 days old, reintubated for surgery, extubated 12 days later. After about a week or so he was reintubated because his cO2 levels were high and he needs support to breathe. I am praying soooooo hard that the most he comes home with is oxygen nose cannula.
I've been off work since May 10, I go back beginning of August.
It is already super hard to have Evan home and Nicky still in the hospital. It will get even harder when I go back to work.
Wanted to update everyone. My boys are beautiful and I have absolutely no regrets at all.

Will you get some time off when Nicky comes home? That is awesome that Evan came home so early at 35 weeks gestation.
Congrats again.
I will get 2 weeks off when Nicky comes home. Thankfully, it will be another adjustment for sure, but has to be easier than splitting time between home and hospital.
Congratulations, Melissa. Welcome to the world Evan and Nicky. Sending lots of love to Nicky that he can come home soon.

I got BFP on my first IUI! I couldn't believe it!
Congratulations!!!!
Thank you a_walton!
Nicky had surgery yesterday. Gtube, nissen and diaphgram plication. Hopefully this is the answer to avoiding a trach. Major major prayers!!!
To answer your question, I used Donor 13294. Still feeling good. I was very excited that my second IUI worked. I know it can take many more tries for a lot of the women here. Eager for first trimester to be over so I can tell everyone!
