Are we crazy?!

So we are 18 dpo today and still no sign of AF. We decided to take another test last night and it's still a BFN. My girlfriend has been complaining of sore breasts since Tuesday night (which she never gets). She was on clomid 50mg for five days starting on day 5 of her cycle. We are now on cycle day 31! What is going on? Of course, we can't go and get a beta test this weekend because it is a holiday. If she were pregnant, would it show up on a First Response HPT by now??

I think we must all be a little crazy! I would say make sure that you test first thing in the AM, hormones are more concentrated then. I had a similar experience with negative HPTs, but when I went for the test it was low positive and then reduced. They called it a chemical pregnancy. I hope the symptoms she is having are a good sign!

Thank you so much for your response. Well, it looks like it was just one of those things. Period came yesterday (5 days late). My GF is having some serious cramps and clotting though...could that be due to Clomid?? This is only our first IUI so we didn't really know what to expect.

Jen and Traci,

It looks like the same exact thing may be happening to me right now. I am on CD 32 and thought that I was getting AF this am but then nothing. My First response early hpt was BNF and so...I think that I will be getting AF within the next few days. Sucks huh? My 1st attempt as well. GOod Luck with #2.
