Any Advice?

Hi All! My wife and I are looking to get pregnant and are at a loss for where exactly to start and could use some help! What would you recommend? ICI vs IUI? Do you know why some of the donors have different prices? Whatever you can tell us would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, one reason for the price difference depends on if they are open or anonymous donors. The open donor is slightly more expensive. I think ICI or IUI depends on which method you'll be using and its best to talk with your OB or RE. You can follow a link from services that may give you more information. All the best.

I agree with Hope. You need to talk to your doctor about ICI vs IUI in regards to which procedure you want to try. However, I learned that even if you are doing IUI, you can order ICI sperm. The only difference in the sperm is that IUI is washed and ICI isn't. My doctor washes the sperm in his office, so he has always had me order ICI but we do the IUI procedure. That saves me money because the price in ICI vs IUI is more than he charges to wash it. Plus, my insurance pays for the washing since they cover some fertility procedures but do not pay for donor sperm.
