Retired Donors

How can I tell if a donor is retired or presently continuing to donate? If you have previously used a donor are you notified by CCB when they retire?

Is 11521 a retired donor?

Thank you!

  • Hi Nella-

Most donors are retired soon after their vials first become available since it takes a minimum of 6 months for that first release. We do not notify clients when a donor retires since he will generally have vials available or in quarantine awaiting future release at that point.

Some donors stay active in our program longer depending on their schedules and frequency of donation.

Donor 11521 is retired from donating but has ample IUI/Premium vials available.

If you are concerned about vial availability for a second child, I highly recommend taking advantage of our Family Tomorrow program which offers three years of free storage and the option to sell unused vials back to us if you like.

    Good luck,

  • How do I communicate with a retired donor?
  • Hi A-

Communication between CCB clients and donors is not permitted.

Is there something specific that you are looking for?
