  • Hi Alik -

    Excellent question!

Our donors can sell out of vials quickly, so if you have a favorite, it's important to plan ahead. We typically suggest 5 vials per pregnancy, but the quantity depends on the type of insemination and how many vials your physician requires per cycle.

For example, if you are doing IUI cycles, on average it takes about 3-4 tries to achieve pregnancy which is why we suggest purchasing 5 vials. If your physician requires 2 vials per cycle, you may want to purchase more.

But, if you are doing an IVF cycle, you may only need 1 or 2 vials.

It's also important to consider how many children you would like to have and purchase sibling vials now. Chances are that when you are ready to start trying for Baby#2, your donor will be sold out.

We offer 1 year of free storage with the purchase of 5 or more vials and we offer 3 years of free storage with the purchase of 10 or more vials.
