My wife has pcos and I have endrimitriotris and fibroids…starting IVF process this week!!!

So my wife is carrying the baby and we are extracting my eggs. I have some endrimitriotris and fibroids which the doctor says do not need to be removed immediately. I had a large fibroid removed two years ago. I do have extremely painful periods and excessive bleeding which the doctor says is because of the location of the fibroids so I will have them removed this summer after my wife gets pregnant hopefully. Does any couple have a similar situation??? What should I expect when trying IVF??

  • Hi! I'm sorry that I don't have advice on reciprocal ivf so far, but my partner and I are also about to start our first cycle! We're both on Lupron shots right now and next week she starts stimulation. I will be carrying. My partner also had a very large fibroid removed two years ago and her doctor at the time, and our fertility doctor have not thought it would be an issue in using her eggs.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your process! Keep me posted.
