On the Donor Profile page we indicate whether a donor has been responsible for pregnancies. This includes reported pregnancies from clients and pregnancies from his personal life. This is not an indicator of specimen quality; we provide this information because of client inquiries.
CCB has an extensive donor screening process and less than 1% of applicants actually become CCB donors. Our lab looks for a certain specimen quality that is only present in the top 15%-20% of the male population. All CCB donors are capable of achieving a pregnancy.
You can check out our video on the donor qualification process here:

Please also keep in mind that whether another client did or did not become pregnant has no bearing on your chance of success. We work with clients from all over the world and there are many different variables involved. Maternal age, type of procedure, and use of fertility drugs are examples of a few factors that can impact success.
And lastly, it takes time for clients to decide on a donor, ship out vials, have their procedures, and then report back to us. It can take several months or more before we receive pregnancy reports from clients.
Donor 13979 isn’t a donor on our current catalog, are you referring to Donor 13797? If so, he has only been available for a few weeks, which is why he doesn't have reported pregnancies yet.

Nicole
