Hi guys, As I am not new to the cryobank, I am new to posting on here. I am using donor 12338. Decided to go with a different donor as the first 3 attempts failed. Can you tell me if this donor has successful pregnancies? I had read on here that one person who used this donor dr. said mobility was not great...this worries me.

There is no harm in changing donors, but it will not increase your odds of a successful pregnancy. All CCB donors go through rigorous srceening, which includes a semen analysis of every donation. Donors must be in the top 15-20% of the general population in sperm quality to even qualify. On average, it takes about 4 attempts per successful pregnancy, so your 3 tries with your initial choice is still below average.
The only reason a donor would not have reported pregnancies is time and popularity. It can take 6 months to a year from the time a donor is first released for pregnancy reports to start coming in.
12338 has only been available about 8 months, and we already have just less than 5 pregnanices reported. There is nothing to worry about in terms of his sperm.
Best of luck,
Scott
