Intro and Question about AMH

Hi!
I am new to this forum. I am a 39 yr old who is TTC. I tried at home IUI using Donor sperm from another bank.
All were BFN.
Now I am going to an RE to see what is going on.
My FSH, E2, and LH levels were all normal (don't have exact numbers just going on what the nurse told me over the phone this week),,, BUT my AMH levels were LOW (.4).
I was told that the normal range is .5- 2.5

Also, my thyroid levels were elevated so the RE wants me to retake that blood test and see what is going on there.

Anyone here with Low AMH but other levels normal and still get pregnant?
I am going to try IUI with medication.

  • Hi there, my AMH levels are the same as your 0.4 and everything else is normal. I am 42 and will be trying in May. I too will be using IUI with meds. My RE told me that the low AMH won't necessarily mean you can't get pregnant - but it does correlate with age, quantity and quality of your existing age. Wonderful huh? Keep me posted. I'm curious to see what others have to say on this.
  • oops I meant quantity and quality of your eggs....
