I been reading a few comments on low sperm count after thawing. Just curious as to how the recipient knows that information or how the doctor determines what the count is?
I think once it's thawed the docs do another count. Haven't been thru this, but just from reading it sounds like someone in the lab does the counts again.
They do. They'll fill out the motility paperwork. It tells the counts, motility of the sperm (the % of them swimming) and the grade (1-4: 4 being the best). You'll need to know your counts in case the count is below CCB's guarantee. You'll get a refund IF you don't get pregnant if the counts are below what they guarantee the vial to have.
