skipping cycles

I had posted this topic a few months back and just wandering if any one has new information...have you heard or has the dr. said that skipping cycles or not trying consecutively can decrease your chances??

I haven't heard anything about this... I would think that it's just a numbers game and obviously the more times you try the more likely you are to be successful. But maybe there is some other factor that makes trying consecutively better. I am trying to decide whether or not to skip this cycle myself. The timing isn't great and this last unsuccessful attempt was really hard to take (it was my first after miscarrying - I got pregnant on my second IUI). Good luck and let me know if you get any good information.
