How long are you guys waiting after the LH surge to inseminate? I'm not using fertility drugs and am just relying on my natural surge. I've ready anywhere between 12 and 48 hours. That's a huge window when you consider frozen sperm last only about 12-24; the egg begins to break down after 12.
If I get my surge on CD 10, I typically feel painful twinges around one ovary or the other about 12 hours later. Then nothing. Is this a good indication that I've ovulated? Most clinics wait until at least 24 and sometimes 48 hours later. I wonder if some people just ovulate a bit earlier...
Any thoughts?
