Donor information does not add up

I was looking over the donor that I used and in his profile it stated that he had a brother but in his personal q & A when asked who he is closest to in his family he states his best friend because that is the closest person he has that is like a brother! Donor 12343 any way to find out if he actually gave you valid information.... I assume that people lie but when it comes to the remainder of the information he provided is any of it actually true?

    Yes, the donor information is correct. If you look on page 18 of the extended profile, you'll see that it indicates that his brother is a half-sibling from his paternal side of the family.

    Although he has a genetic link to this brother, they did not grew up together in the same household which is why he considers himself an "only child".
