Double IUI's - and RE won't tell me count

Hi everybody

I'm doing my first IUI 12 hours after my HCG trigger shot and the next IUI is scheduled 36 hrs after my trigger shot.

Has anybody else done this? Any success?

Also, I ordered IUI-ready vials and the RE said that he is unable to tell me count or motility. Is that normal?

I'm getting a bit frustrated because our RE doesn't seem very good, and he's the only RE in our area.. ugh.

    A lot of REs do doubles. Mine didn't think much of them. He felt like the better practice was to time one very closely, but it really isn't always possible to do that, hence the two schools of thought. If you have fertility issues, it may be worth while to travel some distance to a better RE. However, if lack of sperm is your only issue, you will probably only have to put up with him for a few months. In that case, keep good track of your own fertility signs and try to double check his timing that way. Good Luck!

    The paperwork will have the counts on them...ask them for a copy of your paperwork that came with the vials. Afterall...they are yours.
