New to clomid

Ok, I am stressing myself out. I am new to using clomid. But not new to IUI with donor sperm. I started my period today and have to go into the doctor's office tomorrow for an ultrasound and then thats when I will get the prescription for the clomid. Then I was told I will have to go back in for another ultrasound around day 12. How am I supposed to schedule my pickup of my vial? I know the vial can last up to 7 days but with the 4th of July weekend coming up and fear of not being able to have it in time for IUI. Day 10 is friday July 2nd. CCB is closed July 3 and Monday July 5th. So how long after the second ultrasound will I ovulate? I am just nervous about getting the vial on lets say thursday July 1st (day 9) and then not ovulating until the end of the next week and the vial expire. Sorry for the ranting, just so confused. I used to normally just track my ovulation with opk and would normally ovulate around day 15 or 16 then get iui. But I have had surgery and was put on a course of hormones for a bit that made my cycles different so now I dont know.
