First time IUI!

Hello everyone! My wife and I are getting ready to try our first IUI next week! Just wondering if any one had any advice or tips and tricks?

We are doing my first one next week too!!! im on femera ... and will take a trigger shot. are you under doctor supervision or doing it at home? At home ... i have no idea about! I heard having a full bladder and laying on the table for 10 minutes is proved to help in some studies.

HI Jenny!! My name is Lee. My wife and I just had our 2nd IUI on 7/13/13. My advice would be, keep calm and try to keep yourself busy during the 2 week wait(it can be your nightmare!) try and stay off google too lol. I went crazy the 1st month, went on every blog, questioned every body temp, every symptom and I unfortunately had a negative that month(June). This month, I told my self, Im not doing that again so I stopped getting crazy with the temperatures, I only tested with OPK kits once a day instead of 3-4. I had my IUI and during the 2ww I stayed off the internet. The result? IM PREGNANT!!! Just found out yesterday. As far as symptoms, this IUI, I cramped everyday, it was tolerable. The first IUI, I felt nothing all the 2 weeks. Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK!!!!
