First IUI

Hello all. I wanted to share my story and symptoms and see if this is like someone else. I am 26 YOA and my husband had a vasectomy around 8 years ago. We decided to use a donor and have an IUI. I took Clomid during my cycle for 5 days and 2 days before my IUI took the booster injection. I am currently 10dpiui and have been experiencing a lot of heartburn, breast tenderness (at times), cramping at times. I had 3 follicles and the dr said we had 36 million as the sperm count. Are these symptoms normal? I also flubbed up and took a test at home 7dpiui that was negative, which kinda made me sad but let me know that the trigger shot was out of my body. I know that it was to early but this TWW is hard....

Just wanted to share...I tested this morning when AF showed up and was a BFN Currently starting the process for IUI 2

Oh I'm so sorry to hear. I just had my first iui on April 21. May 8, I go back for my beta. I wasn't put on clomid, but other medication. I was worried about AF. But the medication they had me on , I will not see AF for another 9 mths or longer. When you do your second IUI, ask about stronger medication.

I had daily injections of Ovidrel
Gonal
and daily pill of Endometrin

I go on the 11th for my ultrasound and 1-2 days after we will do the IUI. Good luck and baby dust to you!!

I am on clomid and then one injection the day or so before IUI to release my eggs.

I think I am going to ask him about what I can do different. I am staying positive though!! Its a must!!

Hi mgjohnson730 I am getting ready to do my IUI procedure at the end of this month. My Dr. did a trial run with me last month to see if i had eggs and i got my ultrasound too. So end of this month i will fet clomid the day before and go back the next 24hrs to get inseminated. Im excited and pray it works out for me and you as well.
