donor blood type

this may seem like a very dumb or uneducated question...

but does the blood type of the donor affect the rate of success? i.e. if I am O+, then would I have trouble with a donor who is say B+?...

...just a thought -

and what is the CMV status about? -

I was tested for CMV and my doctor just told us to be sure that we chose a donor that matched my results.
