I'm getting ready to place my first order and would like to if anyone has given birth to their child using donor 13040. Any information you can share would be appreciated.

Donor 13040 has only been available for 6 months. He does have reported pregnancies, but it is too soon for any births.
Please keep in mind that reported pregnancies/births are not a measure of success for our donors.CCB donors go through a very rigorous screening process that includes multiple semen analyses and genetic tests. Less than 1% of applicants actually get selected for our program.
Since all of the donors on our catalog have high quality specimen and are capable of achieving pregnancy, it's best to choose a donor that is a good fit for you.
Best of luck with your first insemination!

When having vials shipped what is the best way. I'm going on clomid on cycle day 5-9. What day should I request shipping? What is the rule of thumb. Thanks
First you should check if your physician's office has storage and if so, how soon they would be willing to store it for you before your insemination.
If they don't have storage, you should plan to have the specimen arrive at least 1 or 2 days before your insemination date. (Not sure where you are located, but as we approach hurricane season and winter, it's always better to ship it a little early just in case of a weather delay.)
The specimen is guaranteed to remain frozen in our shipping tanks for 7 days from the day it ships out of our facility.
Also, it's important to check with your physician's office to see what hours they are able to accept deliveries. The Economy shipments arrive by 5pm and the Priority shipments arrive by noon.
Since this is your first shipment, I would encourage you to call Client Services at least a week before you want the specimen to arrive and discuss different shipping options and ship dates with them.
Regards,
Nicole
