2WW as of November 29th:)

This is my first iui with donor 13543 and I was wondering if anybody else is in the 2ww with me? Baby dust to us all!

  • I'm in the TWW but it ends tomorrow! Good luck with your wait.. I was all over the place - sometimes I felt like I could be pg, but sometimes I felt like there was absolutely no chance. Haven't been able to take a dependable test because I had an hCG trigger shot and that throws off results for up to 14 days (some say 16). I wish I could say I kept calm and collected, but.. it was a long two weeks. I hope your wait is easy and leads to good news!
  • am.brk Thank you for your response. I am feeling the same way, glad I am not the only one. I also had the trigger shot so I will have to wait patiently. Keep me posted on how it goes for you. I am happy for you that your 2ww is over:). May you receive your BFP tomorrow!!!
  • Hi @amy thanks for the well wishes. I actually got a BFP today; couldn't believe it! Now I'm moving on from the two week wait to the 36 week wait. There's so much that can happen.. it's a little scary to think about. I'm just trying to keep it in there ; )

One thing I didn't know until today is that when you get a positive from an iui, you're considered 4 weeks pregnant. It's been a little hard for me to wrap my head around that one. I guess most women don't know their conception date so gestational age is measured back to your last period. Of course I know my exact date and even though it was only 14 days ago, I'm 4 weeks today. Who knew? Good luck to you! Sending you some dust.
  • CONGRATS @AM.BRK!! MY 2WW IS OVER ON SUNDAY AND IM ON PINS AND NEEDLES WAITING TO TEST
  • GOOD LUCK @ AMY DELGADO AND BABY DUST!
  • @am.brk CONGRATULATIONS! That is awesome, I am so happyfor you! Haha I was just trying to explain that concept to my husband. It is wierd to think about it being a month when we know our iui date was two weeks prior. I wish you a smooth and healthy pregnancy. Keep me posted if you don't mind:).
  • @BConley1011 I know this 2ww is like a form of torture lol. I am going to test 15 dpiui if AF doesn't show up just to get a nice dark line if I am pregnant( per husbands wishes ). I still have a ways to go:(. Baby dust to you to & may you get that ever so wonderful BFP!
  • Ladies I received a BFP 16dpiui and a positive blood test yesterday. I had implantation bleeding and thought that the ever so dreadful AF was paying me an early visit 11dpiui, just to find out that I was actually pregnant!!! They are going to test my blood again on Friday to make sure my levels are rising like they are supposed to. Baby dust to all in the 2ww and Congratulations to all the women who are now expecting.
  • @Amy I'm so happy for you - congratulations!!!!

I'm 6 weeks as of yesterday and got to see and hear the heartbeat this week.. couldn't believe it. It's still really early though so I'm being cautious.. I know a lot can still happen so I'm just hoping for the best. Anyway, congratulations to you and best of luck to anyone else reading this!
  • @am.brk Thank you!
Congratulations to you, hearing the heartbeat makes it feel real! I understand the reasons for being cautious I am in the same boat!!! The worries are never over it seems, but I am still very blessed to be at this point. Congratulations again and wishing us both a happy healthy pregnancy.
  • I just went in for my ultrasound, expecting to see and hear the baby's heartbeat. Instead the fetus is measuring a week and a day smaller. Also no heartbeat. I am devastated! I go in again in a week and if nothing changes they are scheduling a D & C.
  • Just saw this, Amy. I am so very sorry to hear your news and I'll be thinking about you this week. I know it's no consolation but if nothing does change, then something is probably chromosomally wrong with the baby and it was completely out of your control. Of course you're devastated! But a first time iui getting this far is a good sign. Your baby's out there - just a matter of time till you get to meet him or her. Wishing you guys the best.
  • Thank you am.brk. your words really do mean a lot!
  • I started bleeding naturally last night. Even though I am beyond devastated, it was a relief. I didn't have to wait for the doctors appointment to find out there was no hope. I didn't have to go in for the purpose of a D & C, which I was dreading. I was able to grieve and not hold back. This is not the end...I will be back at it after 3 months. Good luck ladies. It is a long hard and unsure road, but in the end is worth every adventure we have to go on. I just know it!
