IUI question

I'm getting ready to do IUI, and this will be our 2nd and last one (due insurance coverage) - so I'm trying to time it as close as possible.

During my last cycle, I was on clomid from CD 5-9. Then I did HCG trigger on cd 12 and had the IUI about 36 hrs after my trigger - dh provided fresh sperm. I charted during that cycle and it looked like I O'd 24 hrs after the trigger.

Someone suggested that I do the next IUI 24 hrs after the trigger and then 48 hrs after the trigger, due to frozen sperm not lasting as long as fresh sperm.

Has anybogy else done this?


I'm feeling a little desperate since it will be our last IUI. We've been TTC'ing for 5 years and never been pregnant. It's time for something to work! :o(

    bebesmama...I'm sorry to hear about all that you've been through. I don't have the answer for you, but surely someone here has experience with this. Are you a part of our Facebook group? If so, I would suggest that you post your question there too.
