ANY IUI DOCS IN MEMPHIS,TN?

My partner and I have been going to a doc that is against doing an IUI until you have tried for 12 months with ICI. Of course, hat wouldn't be hard at all if I had a male partner where the sperm was FREE. lol So we tried ICI 3 times.

#1- Known donor- ICI
#2- 2 vials ICI
#3- 2 vials ICI (Currently in the 2WW)

If we don't get a positive this cycle... we have an app set up with a different doc in Memphis. So, hopefully she will be keen to doing an IUI for us right off the bat! (-:

I was wondering if there are any other SSC that have done an IUI with a doc in MEMPHIS, TN?

My wife and I are seeing a fertility specialist at Choices in Memphis. She has been great to work with. We are currently on ICI #3, but we are considering IUI for our next cycle if necessary. I'm happy to provide any info that I can to assist you.

My partner and I are also seeing Nikole Gettings at Choices in Memphis. We completed ICI # 3 with no luck at all. We really want to move on to IUI, but Nikole is so agianst doing an IUI bc she says ICI offers a much higher success rate. But my thing is.... After spending 1600$ each cycle for ICI with no success- why not move on to an IUI?

May I ask if she is okay and "all for" doing an IUI next cycle? Thank you so much for responding.

So we're both seeing Nikole! We are just starting ICI #3, so we haven’t discussed a solid plan for the next cycle – concentrating on getting a positive from this one! But we have discussed IUI with her, and I believe her hesitancy to do IUI is based on the fact that the longevity for IUI prepared sperm is shorter than for the ICI sperm. It also incurs additional costs, which she feels are unnecessary because IUI is traditionally used in couples that have infertility issues, and she doesn’t feel like we have any infertility problems per our medical workup. We have added a drug regimen to try to increase our chances at a positive result. I wouldn't say that Nikole is gung ho about going to IUI, for the reasons I described, and I tend to agree with her somewhat. But I definitely get where you are coming from - this process is crazy expensive!

Yes, of course! Hoping you guys get a BFP this cycle! We are all hoping for the same thing.

Do you mind me asking what med you are taking? I'm hoping she will prescribe clomid for cycle #4. I'm not loosing hope! Good luck to you and your partner. Sending tons of baby dust your way. (-:

I'm taking Clomid and the HCG trigger shot. Also progesterone suppositories for 14 days after insemination. I'm in my late 30s; I think she is reticent to prescribe any drugs right away if you're under 35. We're definitely hoping this is our cycle for a BFP. Good luck to y'all as well!

Hello! I wanted to follow-up with you regarding your new doctor to see if you were getting better results. We may be switching in the future if we continue to have zero success. Do you mind me asking which doctor or clinic you've chosen? I wish you guys the best of luck!
