CCB Policies on private selling of vials

I asked my doctor how many vials I would need to be "safe" for having 2 children from the same donor (he said 6-8 vials per child). I bought that many vials, and no more.
My donor is now sold out and people are actively asking if anyone has any extras. I have my first IUI next week. If I luck out and the first or second IUI takes, I probably don't need as many vials as I have - even for a sibling.
I know CCB has a 50% buyback policy. But what is the policy for private selling of vials that have not yet left CCB? If my first or second IUI is successful, I might be willing to sell a few vials for the same price that I paid (still keeping 6-8 vials for child #2). That's better than 50%, and there are people actively looking for additional vials for this donor. Please advise what is acceptable within policy. Thanks

Since you haven't started yet, I would highly suggest holding on to your vials until you have reached your family goal.
On average, it is about 4 tries per successful pregnancy. Even if you are lucky the first time around, you will be a couple of years older for the second child and you never know. We have plenty of clients that take 6+ tries before getting pregnant.
If you do want to transfer your extra vials to someone else (non-partner), there is a $330 transfer fee.
Good luck,
Scott
