I've been lurking around here, picking out potential fathers and reading everyone's posts. Your stories are amazing and I can't wait to take my journey to the next step!
I have my list narrowed down to two donors.
Do any of you already have children? I have a five year old son, and he wants to have a baby brother or sister. He has a dad who is very active in his life, so he understands the concept of a mother and a father.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can explain this to him? I told him I would go to the doctor and they would give me the baby, but my son is very convinced there should be a man involved. Of course he's partially right, it's always great when the kids can have a father, but in my case it will not happen. I have been single for two years and I have a good life with a lot of family support. I work hard and am happy not having a significant other.
Any advice would be amazing. :)
