Donor 13294

We are going for our first IUI in two weeks. We have donor 13284 picked out and ready to purchase in the next few days. Can you share how many pregnancies have been reported for this donor and whether they are girls or boys? Any twins?

Thank you,
Karen and Kelli

  • Hi K&K -

You must be very excited about your first IUI!

Donor 13294's vials became available in September, so it's too soon for births. He currently has less than 5 reported pregnancies.

(We don't share info about multiples or gender of other clients' offspring, but clients are welcome to post that on here, or on our Facebook page.)

Our donors end up with about a 50/50 split of boys to girls. Any variance is strictly due to low numbers of children born.

Also, page 5 of the Extended Profiles indicates if there are any multiples in the donor's family. Donor 13294 does not have multiples in his family.

    Best of luck with everything!

  • Thank you for the information. We are very excited and fortunate enough to be going through this whole process with each other as well as help from you great folks at CCB and our doctor. It’s been an amazing journey so far and we look forward to what is yet to come!

Donor 13294 has an amazing profile and everything about him represents humanity and kindness. We hope to have success the first time around and feel no matter who we will be blessed with that they are happy and healthy!

    Thank you Nicole.

  • We official purchased a vile of Donor 13294 and it should arrive at our doctors office today (Thursday). Is there anyone we can contact to get a bit more information about sperm count and motility on this donor?

    Thanks,
    K&K
  • Hi K&K -

Congrats on your purchase! Our IUI vials are guaranteed to have at least 10 million motile sperm and our ICI vials have at least 15 million motile sperm after thawing.

The paperwork included in your shipment has detailed information for your physician/lab about that specific vial and your donor's test results. If you purchased an IUI vial, your physician's office should not re-wash it because it can lower the count. (That info is included with the thawing instructions.) These documents are a bit technical since they are geared for medical and lab staff, but you may be able to ask them about it.
