Donors 11493, 12235, and 12144

Okay...so I previously used another donor (I think 05440)and got pregnant on my first IUI attempt on 08/29/10(medicated). At 6 weeks gestation, I had fetal demise. No heartbeat or growth. On 11/06/10 at 2:20 am I miscarried. I had a D&C 11/9/10. My husband and I were so thrilled to conceive on our first attempt at IUI, but as you can imagine, we were (and still are) devestated about losing the baby. I am O+ blood type and the donor I used was A-. My OB said the blood types of myself and the donor could have been incompatable, thus I am gonna try again with a donor of my blood type. Has anyone used donors 11493, 12144, or 12235? If so, were you sucessful? I am healing emotionally and physically, but I am ready for another go at it ASAP. I know I can get pregnant, just something was not right with the baby I guess. No time to up the odds with the compatibility factor :) Also, does anyone know what the CMV status means? Thanks!

  • Hi mlatimer,

I haven't used anything yet, but I'm all set to go with 12144. I have his info if you want.
  • Abby,
That would be awesome. My email is jwel21@aol.com. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you so much and good luck! I hope you get a BFP!!!
  • I looked up CMV right away because I had no clue what it was. When my original bloodwork was completed, CMV was also checked because my RE said it is more of a problem than blood type. Check out the link for CMV. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytomegalovirus
  • Thanks! I talked to CA Cryo Bank and they explained that it has to do with Chicken Pox and other related viruses. I should talk to my RE about it probably. Thank you :)
  • We have two vials of Donor 12144 that we no longer require. Please let me know if you are interested in using them! - And good luck!
