timing hCG shot with IUI

This is our first cycle TTC...very exciting! And my first post on the boards here. Our question is, for those of you who used ovarian stimulation and hCG to induce ovulation:

How many hours before your IUI did you give yourself the hCG shot?

    Exactly 36 hrs. Currently 7 weeks pregnant on our 2nd try!!

    We did an ICi 24 hours after the trigger shot, and the IUI 12 hours later (36 hours after the trigger). This timing worked for us, as I am 8 weeks pregnant! (Although I can't say whether it was the ICI or the IUI that worked!)

    Yea! Congratulations to you both! How thrilling! And your due dates must be almost the same.

    The vials we bought are IUI ready so we can't do an ICI. But if our first IUI cycle didn't take (won't know til 8/23), then we may do do inseminations the next cycle.
