Great Doctor in NYC/Westchester

My partner and I decided to start trying to begin our family this summer. We read all the books, every site on the web, and knew that realistically it would take between 3-6 cycles to get pregnant with an IUI. We were prepared for the frustration...
We met with our doctor in early July for a consult and she said we could begin as early as the following month. We went over all medical history, much like any other reproductive endocrinologist would, and then she told us to contact her as soon as I got my period.
We chose not to use any drugs, as it was our first attempt.
I began going in on day 10 of my cycle so she could do an ultrasound and find the dominant follicle. She tracked the growing follicle until it reached a 21mm size, and then she asked us to take an Ovidrel injection, which triggered my ovulation. The following day she inseminated and after two weeks, sure enough, I was pregnant!
More than this, though, (as if getting pregnant on the first try wasn't enough), the entire staff there is just so friendly and supportive-- which is an AMAZING thing when you are a same sex couple. It made the whole process so much less stressful than it would have been. The doctor was also always willing to explain things over and over until you understood them, and was even available via e-mail to answer the questions that neurotic moms-to-be can't wait to have answered! I tried not to take advantage of that, but it was nice knowing I could connect with the doctor if I needed to know something.
She has an office in NYC and in Westchester. The insemination has to happen in NYC, as that is where their lab is, but I chose to go to Westchester for all of my other appointments.
I highly suggest this doctor, because she's amazing, the staff is amazing, she got us results immediately, and always made us feel like part of the family. Here's the info if anyone's interested:
