Clomid w/o Ultrasound and Trigger

Has anyone had any success with IUI while taking Clomid without ultrasound monitoring or a trigger shot? We are going to try to conceive our second child soon, and since our donor is retired and we only have 6 IUI vials and 1 ART vial, I am hopeful that we can be a bit more aggressive: we conceived our daughter with a drug-free IUI.
