Has anyone used Donor 12811? He doesn't have any pregnancies that have been reported. He's new so I was wondering if there was anyone that tried this donor but didn't get pregnant.
I am looking at this donor also and just noticed on his profile a pregnancy has been reported. Did a search of his donor ID on the boards here . . . there has been one reported pregnancy but no births because vials were just released in December.
I can only imagine what you are feeling but I expect I will be at that point soon. Having my FSH checked again this month and I believe that will be the deciding factor whether I do IUI or IVF with frozen eggs . . . and of course need to pick a donor but I'm kind of stuck on 12811 right now. (BTW - How may of California Cryobank's extra services did you use? i.e. genetic counseling, etc.)
I don't know what your situation is but this is something I just decided to do on my own . . . and realized it was possible to do on my own! Been keeping the decision to myself and have only told a couple friends.
Wishing you great success tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you!
There are certain types of genetic testing done on all donors before they enter the program. I didn't discuss his medical history directly with CCB as there was nothing on there that worried me. My husband was diagnosed with Chromosomal Translocation and isn't able to have children. I purchased the childhood photos, Coversation, Medical History, Extended Profile, Essay and Staff Impressions. I find it very helpful to read all the posts as I don't feel so alone in this. It's hard to talk to people that don't understand what you're going through. I wish you luck in your journey!!
I wanted to check in and see how you were doing Hanaheat1. Have you moved forward with IUI or IVF with donor 12811? I got a BFN this last cycle. I'm going to try again next month.
