Any luck with 13645?

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with 13645. I know he was released in August, but his vials did drop rather low at some point. Which could be that he's popular, or that no one has had much luck.

Thanks for any responses.

  • I've had 2 failed IUI with this donor so far. But there is reported pregnancies from what I read less than 5. Hoping my thurs is the one . Any luck with you ?
  • Yes!!! We tried on 3 cycles with IUI, all with this donor. On the 3rd try I am shocked and happy to say that I am 4w2d today. When I first ordered in November his profile showed no reported pregnancies. When I reordered in January there was a reported pregnancy. That gave me hope. He then sold out and I had just 1 vial left. I got an email last week that more is now available.
  • Well I wrote that first post on 23 December, and on 29 December I got my BFP! I am probably that change you saw in the number of reported pregnancies between November and January.

    I took me 5 tries to get one to stick. I started with just OPKs in August (when this donor was first released). Then we moved to U/S monitoring in September. The RE started with Ovidrel in October to get a more timed release, but that didn't work (and might have messed up my ovulation). Then in November we used Clomid and Pregnyl and that resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Same course of treatment in December, and that was successful. I'm now 13 weeks and 2 days! Just had my FTS and everything is looking good.

    I just picked up a couple extra vials for the future and good thing because it looks like he's almost out - again! :(

    Keep in touch ladies, and let me know how things are going.
  • Just did my 3rd Cycle no meds because all my tests came back normal according to the DR. @ Pamplemousse7 did u have to go on any meds ?
    We have an appt with DR. Already to discuss our next step if this cycle doesn't work . The total motile sperm on my last vile was 32 mil the best one so far , last ones were 28 and 26 mil. Now just waiting 2 dreadful wks . Wish me luck ladies.
  • We used meds to bump my fertility, not because I have fertility problems.

    Good luck during the TWW.
  • @Ly83, how'd it go? Good luck!! I did not use any meds or even studies. I work in OB and talked a friend into doing the IUI for me. I had an appointment with a REI specialist if this cycle didn't work. My sister and mom were pretty fertile so my fingers are crossed, although I'm older than they were when they had kids. @Gonzger, it's so awesome to be connected already with someone carrying this little blueberry's...I don't know what the title is for this sort of sibling. I'm 8w3d today, still with my fingers crossed. I've been wanting to purchase sperm for storage but finances have gotten in the way. Hopefully by the time I'm in a better place I'll be able to do so.
  • @Pample,

    Congrats on making it to the 8-week mark! How are you feeling? I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. So far everything has been going well for me.

    Our children would be half siblings - same father, different mothers.

    I can't believe he sold out again. It's amazing how the combination of "good looking" and a pregnancy reported can change the popularity of a donor. lol

    @Ly,

    How are you holding up?
  • Hey ladies I'm hanging in there No luck on my third cycle. I met with my RE and he put me on clomid 50 mg. I should be going in for my 4 th try in the next couple days . Wish me luck ladies hopefully this it. This is awesome how we can connect, knowing that there are others that are going through the same situation as me. By the way Our donor is still sold out that's crazy! If you don't mind me asking why did you ladies decide to use sperm donor? My husband of 10 year tomorrow :) was diagnose with maturation arrest. He is the youngest of 4 boys, another one of his brothers was diagnose with the same thing. Two of his siblings offered to donate , but we felt that it would complicate things so we decided to use a anonymous donor instead. @ gonzger let us know what you are having , you should find out soon :) @ pamplemousse7 let me know as well. thanks for concerns ladies I will keep you posted with any updates . If you like you can email me ly83lay@aol.com
    We will forever have a connection.

  • Hello again! Sorry I don't check in too often. Is there a way for me to sign up to be notified when new messages are posted? @Ly, I'll email you. @gonzger, my email address is my name so I'm hesitant to post it here. Maybe if you email Ly she'll get us all connected (if you like). I hope you're all doing well!
  • Thanks for the update @ pamplemousse7.
    Keep us updated via email @ gonzger.
  • Hi ladies,

    We had our anatomic scan and everything looks perfect! We are having a girl!

    @ Ly,
    My wife and I used donor sperm because...well, we're both female and science hasn't quite figured out how to make the stem-cell-turned sperm compensate for the y-linked traits when using a female donor (there has been some experiments done with mice). How did you make out with your last cycle?

    @ Pample,
    How are you doing? You should be about 12 weeks now. The end of the first trimester is near!
  • @gonzger. You are silly girl lol. I'm so excited for you and partner . OMG a baby girl....No luck with me yet :( I should be going in the 2-3 days , wish me luck. When are you do? Keep us updated via email if you like. I can help you get connected to pamphlemousse . Take care
  • @gonzger, I'm so glad to hear you are doing well! I am 14 weeks today, still in shock, and glad to be leaving some of the 1st trimester symptoms behind.

    @Ly, I've been thinking about you and sending lots of warm wishes!
  • Hey ladies,

    Just checking in here. I am 30 weeks as of yesterday - 75% done! Woooohooo! Just need to make it through all this summer heat.

    @Pample,
    How are you feeling? Have you started feeling the baby kick? Did you find out the sex yet?

    @Ly,
    How are your efforts going? Any luck, yet? Have you found a new donor?

    I thought it might be nice to keep this thread alive in case anyone else has had luck with 13645.
  • Just had my 6 th failed cycle. I'm feeling defeated ! Met with RE and suggested switching donors but my husband and I kind of have our minds set on this donor. We know that he's able to conceive. It was hard to find him in the first place, donor and husband have a lot similar features. We also have several viles left.. RE will continue with medicated IUIs hoping it works soon and move to IVF as soon as my insurance covers it, because we can't afford it out pocket . Unfortunately for our insurance to cover IVF I have to have 12 failed IUI cycles. I know what a bummer! Trying to be patient. Have been doing acupuncture which has been helping with my anxiety .
    On another note , WOW 30 wks that's amazing time flies. The countdown is on 10 more wks . God bless you . I wonder if there are any other woman have conceived with this donor .
  • Hello ladies!

    @Gonzger,
    So about 35 weeks now? Amazing! I hope you are feeling well and staying cool. I am feeling well. Oddly enough, I did not start throwing up until the second trimester. It's rare but I've learned that I really have to listen to my body's cues. My sleep has been totally screwy this whole pregnancy but, all said, it could be a lot worse and I am not complaining! This kiddo is getting stronger by the week (27 weeks now!) and yet it still all feels surreal to me. We had the anatomy ultrasound and made it through without finding out the sex. The ultrasonographer knows but we don't! I'm hoping the surprise will be an incentive in labor. Not that you need an incentive, but hopefully it'll be a thought to keep me going.

    @Ly,
    I just sent you an email. I hope you are also doing well and keeping your spirits up.

    I would also love to hear from any others who are trying or have had luck with 13645.
  • Hey ladies
    I'm happy to announce that's after our 7th attempt ...
    We're PREGNANT 5 wks today :) I'm the happiest woman in the world.
  • Hey ladies,

    Congrats to both of you!
    Pample,
    Third trimester is right around the corner!

    Ly,
    So glad this worked out for you! Congrats!

    As for me, I'm 36 weeks as of today. Four more weeks to go. I want my little one to keep cooking until she's ready, but I'm ready to meet her NOW! lol
  • @Gonzger,
    Whenever you get a chance, I would love to hear how you are all doing.

    @Ly83,
    How are you feeling? I hope this first trimester has been kind on you. How far along are you now?

    p.s. I had a growth scan and couldn't resist looking. We're having a girl, too!

  • Ha! Sorry. That's what happens when I don't think to look for a second page. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up. How embarrassing! Oh well.
