Can CCB Request Adult Photo From Donor on Behalf of Us?

Hello cryo-admin,

Are we allowed to ask CCB to request an adult photo with the permission of the donor or is that not an option until the child is 18? Thanks

    Hi K -

    We don't provide adult photos. When a child turns 18, they can submit a request for anonymous contact with their donor. The contact would be facilitated by us. If the donor and the offspring both choose to stay in touch and share their identities with each other, that is up to them at that point.

    We love seeing adult photos as an option now. Cant wait to see more with this option over time, so many donors missed out on this in the past. (Hopefully) Your donor database is informed of the change so possibly they will offer it now?

    KNLBaby - I emailed about this and they told me that they will request pictures from old donors when they reach out for medical updates. Mine wasn't for another 2 years though which was a bit of a let down though. I wish they could just send an email out to ask now.
