Anyone pregnant first try? Positive thoughts needed...

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant the first try? All I read is about people trying their 2nd and beyond times...Going into our first try in less than a month, hoping for lucky baby dust and some confidence from lucky 1st timers! I'm 28 and in good health, and going to acupuncture, so here's hoping... :)

    I got lucky the first try with my son in 2007. Don't ask me about TTC baby #2 because that road has been rough. But it can happen so good luck!

    We got pregnant on the first try, I've talked to a few others who have as well. Just keep positive thoughts and baby dust to you.

    We got pregnant on our first try. I was 25 and in decent shape. I charted my ovulation for 5 months prior to our first attempt. We felt MORE than lucky!

    We also got pregnant on our first try. I am 26 and healthy overall. It can happen the first time, but we feel very fortunate that we were among the lucky ones that only had to try once :) Best of luck to you!

    May i ask what your timing was? Ovulation kit and iui if thats what you did? Im going on try 4 and i just cant get the timing right !!!!

    We also got pregnant the first time at age 39. My doctor said I should probably try at least three times, but amazingly it happened the first time. He is now 2 years old! What is even more odd is that when we got pregnant, my doctor had only had one other couple who had gotten pregnant the first time and it was our friends who referred us to her! Wild and awesome.

    We basically did this go round. We tried a couple cycles in 2009 but it was a high stress time. We spend the last three years focusing on our new home, relationship and my health. I lost 40 lbs, changed my diet and did a bunch of fertility prep. I am now pregnant after one home insemination.

    @jamu would you mind emailing me any tips for the home insemination? We tried our first attempt this month, and it didn't work. Thinking of trying again in January. I'm just not sure that we have the timing correct. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Gbaby872@gmail.com
