Ok, so we all know that a planned pregnancy comes with different emotions than an unplanned pregnancy. Meaning, if I wasn't planning or trying to get pregnant, my life and day to day activities continue without any thought of the fact I may be pregnant (mainly heterosexual women). Therefore, weeks go by until the "oops, I've missed my period." or some other symptoms surface. But, with the fact that my partner and I are trying to get pregnant and one week ago had our first IUI, the anticipation of knowing is nearly killing me. It's in my head that I am experiencing symptoms...lighheaded, tired, urinating a lot (actually happening), yet we still have a week to go before we will know for sure. We have decided not to do a home pregnancy test because we believe we may get a false reading and then our hope will be crushed either way on D-Day.
