12338

I have ordered four vials of 12338. The first vial's mobility is 55%. the second vial's is 45% which is on the low end, according to my doctor. Could u advise is there a control on mobility? What is the normal range for frozen sperm? What is the return policy? Thanks a lot for your assistance.

  • Hi M -

Average motility is around 50%. Our guarantee is based on total motile sperm. So, if there are 30 million sperm with 50% motility, you would have a total motile count of 15 million. Our minuimum guarantee for IUI vials is 10 million.

Donor 12338 has been available for about 5 months and we already have multiple pregnancies (less than 5) reported. You have nothing to worry about in terms of the specimen quality.

    Good luck,

  • I just ordered 12338 and will let you know what my doctor says about his numbers. I hope everything is ok - this is my first time.
Thank you so much California Cryobank - everyone was so helpful and patient with me during this entire process.

  • Thanks Scott. My second attempt also failed :(

Anyone knows whether IVF has a better chance?

My doc didn't give me any medication prior to the IUIs. She said natural is better. She said I could try up to 10 times. So expensive and so emotional..

    Best regards
  • Hi M -

Unmedicated cycles have a much lower rate of success. Some physicians suggest skipping injectables and going right to IVF since the drugs themselves can be thousands of dollars per cycle. However, most physicians will prescribe at least a few Clomed cycles.

Your age, health, egg quality, etc. all figure into your odds of success. However, 10 IUIs seems excessive in any scenario. I would consider asking your doctor about your options since it will get very expensive with a lower chance of success than other treatments.

    Good luck,
