spotting

I had my first IUI on 12/21/11 and have my blood test on 01/04/12. Today I noticed just the teeniest bit of spotting. Not to be too graphic but it's not in my panties, I just notice the smallest smear when I use the restroom and wipe. Is this normal, bad, or what??
I am freaking out!!

I am by no means an expert as I have had only 1 IUI so far, but I don't think there is reason to be concerned. It could be implantation bleeding (which is good and means it worked) or it could be spotting before AF. Have you tested? If you are really concerned, you should call your doctor, but I don't think it's a bad thing.

I took a HPT which was negative. I never have spotting between periods and I'm not due to start for another 9 days. I did call my doc and he said just to rest. I go Wednesday for my blood test.
I am desperately hoping for implantation bleeding!!!

I had spotting both when I wasn't pregnant AND when I was. The symptoms are remarkable similar! Good luck!
