12965 - ANY INFO, PLEASE?!

I have chosen to use donor 12965. I feel very confident about him and am excited but was curious to know if anyone can share their stories or what they like/know of donor 12965. did you use ICI or IUI? how many tries did it take before pregnancy?

any baby pix? please let me know.

I am currently 36.5 weeks pregnant with this donor. I am having a little boy. We used this donor for IVF and got pregnant the first time with IVF. We had several failed IUI cycles but only one of those was with this donor.Not sure what else I can add but willing to try to answer any questions? Good luck and god bless.

Baby boy was born weighing 8 lbs 15.5 oz. and 21 inches long. He is in perfect health and a wonderful baby.

Hi Ladies, I'm so glad I found this thread. I am TTC with IUI around 1/17/14 with this donor and I am so excited. I would love to know how things turned out for GT2013 and if mrssmth would mind sharing your baby picture.
Did any of you order a facial feature or personality report or the audio clipping for this donor. If so, would it be possible to share?

Hey wanna!! Did not ovulate in January, so we started over with meds, have an ultrasound on Friday 1/31/14, if we have a good egg a trigger shot that day with the iui the next morning. We both felt strongly attracted to this donor, no particular reason, was one we could both agree upon. We bought 2 iui vials and if he does not work we will try a different donor. Will let you know 12965's numbers when he is unfrozen. All the best to you!!!

GT, I actually had my IUI last week on the Jan 20th. Triggered 36 hrs earlier. I ovulated about 5 hours after IUI - felt a sharp pain on one side. Had 1 good egg from the U/S the previous day. The count from this 1st vial was 26.4 mil which my RE was happy about. The timing was great. So have a good feeling about this. Keeping my fingers, toes and everything crossed! We picked this donor for the same reason. The hcg is giving me all kinds of preg symptoms, but I'm in the dreaded 2 week wait and have to wait until Feb 4th to find out for sure. This will be the slowest 2 weeks of my life :) I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I pray it works for the both of us. Lotsa baby dust and Good luck to us :)

Hi wanna! Had our iui this am, feeling good about it. We had either one 28mm egg or 2 eggs definitely big enough but growing so close together they could not differentiate them. We did the trigger shot yesterday and 24 hours later the iui. 12965's count was 10.9 million with 46% motility, the Dr. said that was excellent. We are in the 2ww with you now, praying for both of us! We should know on valentines day. I will check in on the 4th to see you success! Blessings to us all!

Wanna, We are hoping to see a BFP post from you today, if not don't give up, we lost a child at 8 weeks in September 19, 2013, different donor, and we have not given up hope yet. I am praying for you today!!! :-)

Thanks GT. I was late and I tested everyday starting from DPO8. I was too eager to know, but was heart broken when AF showed up yesterday. I refused to believe it and convinced myself it was IB. but it got heavier(sorry TMI) and I cried my heart out. I'm out this month but will be trying again in Feb- Should O around 20th. Will be using the same donor. I'm sorry for your loss in September. You are a strong woman and I'm glad you dint give up. I pray that you will be blessed with your little bundle of Joy very soon.

Wanna, we are so sorry, there are no words for these disappointments. My wife's progesterone was 20.5 on Friday,, a good sign, also feels bloated today with slight nausea this am. Will try to wait until Friday to take a test, it is hard to stop yourself, I agree. Will let you know and will keep checking in in you. :-) keep your spirits up, because it will happen!!!

Thanks mrssm1th for sharing your baby boy's picture. He is absolutely gorgeous. I had my 2nd round of IUI and started my 2WW yesterday. I'll be testing on March 5th, so I'll keep you all posted. I'm hoping and praying this is my month. GT2013, I hope you got your BFP, waiting to see your post. Your symptoms were promising. Sending lotsa baby dust and sticky thoughts your way.

I've got some fantastic news. I got my BFP on my 2nd cycle TTC with this donor and I am over the moon .I had an IUI with clomid and trigger on Feb 16th. Its still early and I'm yet to get my blood work done, but I've taken about 10 HPT's and after seeing the positive, I finally believed it. It happened and I hope it sticks.
I will keep you all posted on my progress.

Congratulations Wanna!!! So happy for you. I had my IUI 36 hours after trigger on 3/1 (not with this donor). I've been racking my brain on the timing part. If you don't mind sharing, how far ahead of your IUI did you trigger?

My first cycle, i had my trigger 30 hours earlier and i was bummed it wasnt 36 because from everything i read online 36 sounded like the magic number. But this 2nd cycle that was successful, my doc insisted on doing the trigger 24 hours prior. I dint understand and i wasn't happy, but she asked me to trust her and I did just that. 2 weeks later, I got my BFP.

I've come to believe the trigger shot needs to be within a time range of 24-36 hours. The exact time would depend on egg size, and other medical factors. So just trust your OBGYN/RE and let them do what they are qualified to do. I stressed out so much about the time and its not worth it. I know its easier said than done, but try to let it go and a miracle will happen.

I definitely think we got the timing right this month due to the cramps I had the day of my IUI. I get to test on 3/15 and hoping AF doesn't show up this month. Thank you and please keep me updated on your progress! Good luck to you too!
