How many pregnancies for donor #12847?

It's been a few month since this was posted. Can you please tell me if donor 12847 has any more reported pregnancies?

I'm on my 7th injectable IUI and feeling heartbroken and hopeless.

Can CCB give statistics of success rates per IUI cycle? When women report their pregnancies, don't they say how many IUI cycles it took them to achieve succes?

Is this data compiled in order to give statistics?

I've seen that on average, it takes about 4 inseminations per successful pregnancy. I'm way past that. Any help, statistics or words of encouragement would be appreciated.

Hi Cheese -

I'm so sorry that this process has been difficult for you.

The average is about 3-4 IUIs to achieve pregnancy, but your physician may have more specific statistics for you depending on maternal age, medicated vs unmedicated cycles, etc.

I'm guessing that by this time, your RE has done ultrasounds, blood tests, and checked for any blockages. It sounds like you should have a discussion with him/her to see if IVF might be the next step for you. Although it's possible to achieve pregnancy after several IUI cycles, the odds decline. This doesn't mean that you won't get pregnant, you just might have to take a different route.

For the number of reported pregnancies, we only share if the donor has more or less than 5 reported pregnancies, and as mentioned above, Donor 12847 has 5 or more reported pregnancies.

Please don't get discouraged, but definitely get in touch with your RE to discuss your plan going forward.
