We received a BFP on our very first unmedicated IUI. We used donor 11829. His counts were great- 25MM with 91% motility.
Aside from great donor counts, we did all of the upfront testing and my DP had no issues. She's also 31, so that helped.
The best advice I can give is test OFTEN with an OPK to catch the start of the surge...and get the digital smiley one to take the guess work out of it. It's a little more money, but really minor in the grand scheme of things. I don't understand why docs say to test once a day when timing is so critical. If we had tested once a day we could've missed it completely. She was negative at 3 am and 8am, positive at noon and 8pm, and negative at 8am the next morning. We did the IUI 29 hours after we caught the start of the surge.
GOOD LUCK!!!!
