Hi,
Can I use iui sperm for an at home insemination? What are the pros and cons? I know you're supposed to use ici typically but the donor we like doesn't offer any.

Yes, it's possible but ICI vials are recommended for home inseminations.
IUI vials are washed which means that they do not contain the seminal fluid that help the sperm travel to the uterus. Also, it's a concentrated sample of motile sperm so the amount of liquid that you are dealing with is only about .5 mL. (ICI vials contain 1 mL.) It might be tricky to transfer the specimen to the device you use for insemination.
Please also keep in mind that we only provide the vials. You would need to check with your medical professional about obtaining supplies to do a home insemination.
