  • Hi there, I used this donor last week and was wondering if you had any success?

It's my second time around iui with a different donor.

Good luck and thanks for starting the thread.
  • I had my first IUI on July 20th. Had a positive blood test yesterday! I am pregnant and in utter disbelief. I really can't believe it worked on the first try. Praying it sticks. Good luck to you!
  • Congratulations, c2one...wonderful news!!!
I selected this donor as well and will start my IUI process with my September cycle (end of the month).
  • We will be trying our first IUI with this donor this week and our fingers are crossed big time! This will be my first IUI, but our 7th try total TTC - we had been using a KD, which resulted in 1 BFP that ended in MC. Decided to go this route and are excited about this donor!

Congrats c2one and fingers crossed for you NicholeP. Texas_Single, any luck?
  • Hello all. Unfortunately,I recently had a miscarriage using a different donor. While we are still grieving, we want to begin to think about our plan for the future. We are undecided on whether or not to switch donors. If we do, we are very interested in donor 14513. Please, if anyone has had a successful pregnancy, we would love to hear from you. OR, if anyone has used this donor and has any information on his counts and motility. It is a big decision for us to change donors, as we have several vials in storage from our previous donor that we intended to use on a second child. Anything you could share on this donor would be so very appreciated. Thank you!
  • Baby dust to you carin13!

How are things going c2one and Texas_Single?

Jmjn, I haven't completed my IUI yet so I do not know 14513's numbers.

I was hoping to start my process this week but with Hurricane Matthew coming to S. Florida on Thursday, I may have to postpone to next month. :-(
  • First IUI was on 9/30/16 and we go back for a blood test on 10/14/16. The two week wait is always soooooooo long! jmjn the doctor told us the motility looked great and the count was 13.3 million. Everything looked good so we are hoping for our rainbow baby. Good luck everyone. We are excited to hear any updates.
  • Thank you so much for the update! good luck!!!!!
  • c2one & Texas_Single & NicholeP & jmjn,

Would you mind emailing? My address is aheckinger10@yahoo.com. I have a few questions I'd like to ask privately. Thanks =)
  • Hi friends,

If anyone has extra vials of 14513 that they are interested in selling, we would be VERY interested in buying. We would like to have at least 2 children and since 14513 was so new we didn't anticipate him being retired so quickly. We still have some vials left but as you know the numbers game is hard to predict. We are praying this month we get a BPF on Friday. Please keep us in mind if you have extra vials we would pay full price =)
  • Hey Carin13. We are in the same boat. We switched donors and switched to 14513. When we made this decision, we didn't think he would be retired. Now we have some vials in storage and we are waiting to start again (I had a miscarriage using a different donor). Once we begin, if we do not get pregnant quickly, leaving us with enough vials for at least a chance at trying for a second child, we are going to have to look to transfer the vials AGAIN. I will definitely keep you in mind if this happens, but I'm hoping it doesn't. Hopefully we can all keep in touch and make this work for everyone using this donor. Once we have our 2 children, I would gladly sell what we have to anyone looking for more children. My e-mail is jmjn318@gmail.com for anyone who wishes to stay in touch. Best of luck to all of you.
  • I had my first go with 14513 this morning. Fingers crossed.
  • We purchased this donor as well in September. I'm at RE office right now, in waiting room posting this. Getting my follicles measured to know if we can trigger tonight. This is our second cycle with this donor. He looks like he could be my wife's twin. So fingers, eyes, toes crossed!
  • Want positive results that have stuck??
  • That was supposed to read any positive results that have stuck not want. Sorry.
  • Had our beta blood test yesterday after our IUI on 9/30 and we are pregnant!! We're so excited and in disbelief as well! My wife is hoping to get pregnant next with this same donor (in a year or two) and we're so glad we have a few vials left in storage after only having to use ONE (woohoo), but are certainly a little nervous that we'll need more than we have. But right now, just super excited!

NicholeP- were you able to try the other week?

Good luck to everyone trying or in the TWW.
  • i also use this donor yesterday, but the sperm counts seem low on both vials (around 4M). I am curious how many IUI do you do in each cycle and what is the time? My doctor suggests only doing 1 after 24h of LH surge. But i heard some other doctors do back-to-back (twice) IUI. I still continue testing with OPK and it is still showing two lines today. I am worried whether I actually didn't ovulate yesterday. Feel stressful.
  • Congratulations carin13…wonderful news!

Yes, I was able to use this menstrual cycle for my IUI procedure. Today I completed Day 1 IUI and will continue Day 2 IUI tomorrow. Motility was good and count was 10 million.

Joanna123 – Sorry to hear you are stressed…sending baby dust your way. My RE office does two days of insemination per menstrual cycle back-to-back days. I had my LH surge Friday, first IUI (one vial) today, and the second IUI (one vial) on Sunday. Insemination is done in the mornings.

Fingers and toes crossed…after tomorrow I start TWW. :-)
    Baby dust to everyone!
  • Who all has received positive results with this donor?
Also, I've inseminated 2x with this donor. First time motility was 8mill and this go round was 10mill. I'm curious if anyone has had higher? We only have two vials left and I fear I will have to switch donors soon.
  • I just got a negative for my try this month. Onwards and upwards!
  • @sd3, sorry to hear that. I agree onward and upward...best of luck to you and extra baby dust!

@2moms2016, I believe carin13 had motility at 13.3 million. My Day 1 was 10 million and Day 2 was over 10 million. I am not sure exactly how much higher as the form my RE office uses for IUI verification lists the highest motility as "> 10 million".
So far, c2one and carin13 had positive results. I'm still in TWW phase...11/6 seems so far away.
  • No joy ladies, I got my period yesterday. As much as I really liked this donor, I have to go with my back-up donor for my upcoming cycle as two vials are used for each IUI cycle and I only purchased two from this donor.

I wish you all lucky baby dust and healthy pregnancy/delivery. Best of luck to everyone! :-)

    NicholeP
  • Any new results? We have our first OB appointment tomorrow. 7 week 3 days! =)
  • Carin13, how is everything going?
I am finally almost ready to begin again after a miscarriage in sept. with a different donor. I should have my first iui with donor 14513 later in the week (around Thursday or Friday. Please send positive thoughts my way!!!!
